Your Best Health

If you want to make a change in your life, don’t know where to start and are feeling overwhelmed with health information, this is the course for you.  This course includes an optional weigh in and body assessment for those interested in monitoring weight loss during the program. Most are expected to lose 10-15 pounds by the end of the program. 

Take part in Your Best Health Workshop held one evening a week for 8 sessions. Each week will focus on a specific topic including:

Foundations of Nutrition
Learn the building blocks of nurtrition including healthy fats, carbohydrates, protein and fibre.
How to shop the healthy way
 Shopping excursion to understand lables and learn to navigate through all the choices.
How to live chemical free
 Learn the impact of chemicals on health and how to minimize your exposure.
Stress Management and Emotional Eating
Learn the connection between stress and disease and techniques to manage it.
Yoga and Meditation Foundations
Discover the benefits yoga and meditation can bring to both your body and mind.
Detoxification
What is detoxification and how can you start incorporating optimal detox into your life.  
Optimal Metabolism
Discover what factors can affect your metabolic rate including thyroid function, protein intake and optimal exercise
Hormonal Balance
 How do hormones affect our moods, menstrual cycles, metabolism and energy? Learn the roles of key hormones and how to use diet to bring you into hormonal balance. 

            Group size is limited to 6 people. This is a perfect program to do with a friend and share the experience or connect with other health minded people. Each participant also receives one private initial consultation with Dr.Carrie Watkins to focus on addressing individual health concerns.

            Course fee:  $400 plus tax

            Invoices are provided for each attended session for applicable extended insurance plans. This is the equivalent of $50/session!
